Probable Cause

The airplane’s hard right turn during landing in crosswind conditions and a subsequent loss of directional control due to adverse airplane-pilot coupling attributable to the design of the nose landing gear, whose directional stability was sensitive to operational conditions and compliance with precise maintenance tolerances.
