THE FAILURE OF THE PILOT TO ADEQUATELY PREFLIGHT THE AIRPLANE. CONTRIBUTING TO THE ACCIDENT WAS THE PILOT'S FAILURE TO USE THE BRAKES TO MAINTAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL AND POOR INSPECTION OF THE AIRPLANE BY COMPANY MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL.
