THE PILOT MISJUDGED HIS DISTANCE AND ALTITUDE DURING FINAL APPROACH AS A RESULT OF HIS ALCOHOLIC IMPAIRMENT OF EFFICIENCY AND JUDGEMENT. A FACTOR WHICH CONTRIBUTED TO THE ACCIDENT WAS THE DARK NIGHT.
