Probable Cause

THE FAILURE OF THE PILOT TO MAINTAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL OF THE AIRPLANE DURING A HARD LANDING. THE PILOT'S IMPROPER RECOVERY FROM A BOUNCED LANDING AND A DOWNDRAFT WERE FACTORS IN THE ACCIDENT.
