Probable Cause

LOSS OF POWER BECAUSE OF CARBURETOR ICE WHICH OBSTRUCTED AIRFLOW TO THE ENGINE. THE AIRCRAFT NOSED OVER ON LANDING BECAUSE OF SOFT TERRAIN AND HIGH GRASS. THE PILOT'S FAILURE TO USE CARBURETOR HEAT IS A CONTRIBUTING FACTOR.
